Respected Dada Bhagwan
("The great scientist of the Science of Absolutism, known as the 'Holistic Scientist.'")
Ambalal Muljibhai Patel, a simple man in the construction business from Bhadran, Gujarat, was curious about the true meaning of life and the universe.
Born on November 8, 1908, in Tarsali, a small village near Vadodara, Gujarat, India, Ambalal was different from others even as a child. He had extraordinary qualities and always focused on helping others, believing that whoever met him should find happiness and benefit.
In school, when asked to find a common number present in all figures, he immediately responded, “Sir, I have found God from this. God is present in all living beings and is indivisible.”
In his construction business, he had a strong resolution: “We may face difficulties, but we will not be dishonest by using less cement or steel. Cement and steel for a building are like blood and bones for a body.”
As a husband, he was unique, never having a single dispute with Hiraba throughout his life. Despite Hiraba losing one eye after marriage, Ambalal refused to remarry, saying, “I promised to take care of her in the presence of the sacred fire, and I will keep that promise until my last breath, even if she loses both her eyes.”
From the beginning, Ambalal was free from common human weaknesses like attachment, greed, or deceit.
- Enlightenment
In June 1958, at the Surat railway platform in Gujarat, India, A.M. Patel experienced enlightenment. His only desire was to seek ultimate truth. In that moment, he felt a divine knowledge light that brought infinite pure knowledge, vision, and bliss to his frail body. All the mysteries of self, bondage-liberation, and universal regulation were unveiled. Egoism vanished, and a state of infinite bliss became permanent. A.M. Patel, now known as ‘Gnani Purush,’ devoted his life to sharing this knowledge.Teaching Holistic Inner Science From 1962 to 1988, A.M. Patel imparted Holistic Inner Science, or Vitrag Vignan, to thousands. He aimed to help people live peacefully and harmoniously amid life’s challenges. His teachings covered various aspects of daily living, including relationships, money, and sensual pleasures.
- Dadaji’s Vision
A.M. Patel had a vision and mission—to spread the light of Holistic Inner Science to all. He wished for scientists, thinkers, and seekers worldwide to grasp and share this knowledge. His goal was to bring peace, inner happiness, and harmonious living to every corner of the world.
- Who is Dada Bhagwan?
Dada Bhagwan is not the person in the photograph with a black cap and coat. It’s the infinite pure knowledge light, pure vision, and bliss that manifested in A.M. Patel’s frail body. Dada Bhagwan cannot be photographed or destroyed; it is eternal. This divine presence can be experienced through knowledge light, vision light, manifest being, and inner unseen penance.
- Continuing the Legacy
A.M. Patel left his mortal body on January 2, 1988, but his legacy continues through the Aptaputras, who carry on his work. The Jai Sachchidanand Sangh preserves and shares his teachings.
